The primary purpose: The Procurement officer is to ensure that an organization has a reliable supply of goods and services needed for its operations while achieving the best possible value and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Job Responsibilities:
Sourcing and purchasing based on quality, cost etc.
Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers
Analysing market trends to make cost-effective purchasing decisions
Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure a steady supply
Vendor relations, building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
Preparing and managing budget related to procurement
Maintain the records of purchases, pricing and others.
Skills
Negotiation:

Ensuring Accuracy: Cashiers must ensure that all transactions are processed accurately, including providing correct change and verifying the validity of payments.
Following Security Procedures: Cashiers follow security procedures to prevent theft and fraud, such as verifying identification for credit card transactions and maintaining a secure cash handling process.

Maintaining Records and Reconciliation:
