YANGA vs Bandari FC Citizen's Day 2025
Young Africans Club has been invited to invite Bandari FC of Kenya to the Citizens' Week Festival, the culmination of which will take place on September 12 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
The Citizen's Week event will include entertainment, introducing new and existing players for the 2025/2026 season and will conclude with a friendly match against an invited team.
Yanga's Media and Communications Manager Ali Kamwe has admitted that there has been difficulty in getting teams outside Africa to participate due to scheduling conflicts where most African countries have already started their leagues except for East Africa where the CHAN championship is ongoing and is expected to conclude on August 30.
Bandari FC, which finished eighth in the Kenyan Premier League last season 2024/2025, is the team mentioned as being eligible for the invitation.
