JOB OPPORTUNITIES WWF Tanzania - August 2025
WWF, founded in 1961, is the world's largest conservation organization with over 5 million supporters worldwide, working in over 100 countries and supporting nearly 3,000 conservation and environmental projects.
As the World Wildlife Fund grew , in the 1970s and 1980s, it began to expand its work to Conservation in General.
This demonstrated the interdependence of all living things, rather than focusing on selected species in isolation.
Most importantly, the Office began to intentionally engage communities to promote the sustainable use of environmental resources in their livelihood activities.
WWF Tanzania works in Southern Tanzania in the Ruvuma Landscape, Marine Landscape, Water Tower Landscape and the SOKNOT (Southern Kenya Northern Tanzania) landscape which is a cross-border initiative with Kenya.
