Position: MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT OPERATORS (4)
Key Responsibilities:
To operate Reach Stacker, Forklift, Empty Handler and other equipments to receive and load sea containers in a safe and efficieant manner. Load and unload containers onto chassis, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing. Monitor gauges, inspect products, and troubleshoot issues as needed. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment parts, and report any maintenance issues to the Mechanical Engineer-Container Terminal and site supervisor. Maintain accurate records of container movements, inventory, and equipment maintenance. Demonstrate a high level of safety and process compliance, adhering to company and port safety policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with other team members and stakeholders, ensuring efficient container and products handling operations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal use of resources and minimal delays. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and productivity in the terminal.
Qualifications:
Minimum Diploma in Port Equipment and facilities Maintenance Management or relevant field. Certificate in Mechanical operator course. 3+ years relevant work experience equipment operation (Warehouse operations more preferrable). Any Certificate of Safety Training is an added advantage. A valid driving license.
