Tanzania vs Morocco Quarter Finals CHAN 2024
It has been learned that the Tanzania National Team (Taifa Stars) will play against Morocco on August 22 at the Benjamini Mkapa Stadium in the quarter-finals of the CHAN 2024 tournament after the Group A matches concluded with Kenya setting a record for finishing first in the group. The Kenyan national team set a record for finishing top of Group A after emerging with a 1-0 victory over Zambia, scored in the 75th minute by Ryan Ogam at the Moi International Stadium, Nairobi. While Kenya continued their dominance in the group and reached 10 points, the same as Taifa Stars in Group B, on the other side at the Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi, Morocco punished DR Congo 3-1, thus ending the stage in the same second place. With this result, Kenya will play against Madagascar, which itself collected seven points and finished second in Group B, which is led by Taifa Stars, in a match that will be played at the Moi Stadium in Kenya.
